March 8, International Women’s Day is a special and beautiful day for all women. The First Women’s Day was celebrated in America on February 28, 1909. Then, on March 8, 1917, there was a national holiday in Soviet Russia, when women gained the right to vote. Since 1975, it has been celebrated by the United Nations every 8 March.
Many women do great things in a logistics sector where men are seen as more intense. Women, as the owners of many enterprises, have contributed to the growth of the sector and continue to do so.
As example of this we can show:
Mahiye Kilercik Şamdancı (Adria),
Berna Akyıldız (Transtaş),
Ayşe Durmaz (Transsan),
Hacer Uyarlar (Maxx Intermodal),
Damla Alışan (Alışan),
Evrim Aras (Aras Cargo),
Nilgün Keleş (Sertrans)
Nisa Karaca (Depaş),
Ayşem Ulusoy (ATC Group),
Gülseren Yurtseven (Simon Hegele)
Nurten Öztürk (Zoom Lojistik)
Nil Tunaşar (Transorient)
As a Logistics Company, we are in contact with women in logistics every day. We are very happy to work with them, as the field in which women work differs. Together with women in human resources, finance, accounting, sales, purchasing, administrative affairs, operating in the field and operations, we have done great works. We thank them for their support. As Gelişim Logistics, we would like to share with you that we condemn all kinds of discrimination and that we operate within our own structure for more equal conditions.
We express our gratitude to all Women.
